It retains its characteristics over time and does not deteriorate

Depending on its use, polyurethane can be given different characteristics in terms of form, strength, and design

SITIALY uses the innovative BIO-BASED polyurethane foam, a cutting-edge, high-performance, and environmentally-friendly solution.

However, we also use the “standard” polyurethane on request. Although not certified as BIO, SITITALY standard polyurethane is water-blown, lead-free and contains neither CFCs (chlorofluorocarbons) nor HCFCs (hydrochlorofluorocarbons). Its environmental impact can therefore be considered to be zero.

Furthermore, at the end of its life cycle, standard polyurethane can be reused in various ways: to produce energy, to obtain new raw materials for moulding or as material for other applications.
